Ubiqutek’s first demonstration of “Touch”

The Ubiqutek “Touch”, electrical weed control product, was recently introduced to decision-makers in the amenity and horticulture markets, at our inaugural demonstrations, held in July at Woburn Abbey.

The Touch is a sustainable, versatile, safeguarded weed control device, and we were proud to unveil our technology at such a prestigious location. We are grateful to the Duke of Bedford’s team for their kind support.

Despite unseasonably squally weather, we were pleased that key members of the amenity and horticultural community had travelled from as far afield as Somerset and Scotland. Fortunately, we were able to maximise the versatility of the equipment and make the most of the breaks in the rain to hold active demonstrations of various applications, including giant hogweed. Happily the weather did not seem to constrain the enthusiasm of our visitors, and we trust the event was as useful to those who were able to join us, as it was invaluable to us.  The feedback was positive, constructive and very encouraging.

We look forward to building on this progress, and plan to hold more extensive trials with interested parties, later in the year.
